Muthukumar S.

      Muthukumar S., is with the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, College of Engg., Guindy, Main campus of Anna University, Chennai, as Senior Lecturer. He received his B.E. degree from Regional Engg. College, Trichirapalli  and  M.E. degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He is currently with Indian Institute of Technology Madras, working towards his Ph.D. in the area of 'Power generation from ocean waves'. He was a recipient of National Merit Scholarship during UG, based on statewide rank. He secured an All India Rank of 20 in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2004, conducted by the IITs. He has been awarded with National Doctoral Fellowship by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi, now for taking up research at IITM.

      He has 10 years of teaching experience at CEG, Anna University and 3 years of research experience. He has to his credit a number of publications including more than 15 papers in the area of 'renewable energy sources'.
